　這首旋律簡單、琅琅上口的老歌，是影壇享負盛名的緊張大師希區考克（Alfred Hitchcock）的作品「擒兇記」（The man who knew too much）的主題曲，而這部一九五六年的電影又是他重拍自己一九三四年的舊作而成，不過演員請來當時的大明星桃樂絲黛和詹姆斯史都華擔綱演出。桃樂絲黛一直是美國人喜愛的影歌雙棲藝人，理所當然主唱了這部電影的主題曲，歌名 Que sera, sera 並非英文，而是西班牙文。
